It is our great pleasure to announce that the 12th European Elastin Meeting (EEM2024) will be held in our beautiful city of Reims, France, from October 28 to 31, 2024.
EEM2024 will bring together worldwide academic and industrial experts in biochemistry, chemistry, medicine, physics, material, and computational sciences interested in elastin and elastin-related issues. Molecular, cellular, and tissue aspects of elastin and elastic fibers biology will be addressed: biosynthesis, degradation, turnover, regulation, repair, and their use as biomaterials. The local and international scientific committees have set-up a program exploring the main research topics in the field, from fundamental research to the involvement of elastin and elastic fibers in elastogenesis and diseases, and their use as biomaterials to repair damaged or aged tissues.
EEM2024 has been devised to be a unique platform promoting state-of-the-art concepts and networking between senior investigators, early-career scientists, students, and companies coming from Europe, North America, and beyond. Given its multidisciplinary approaches, EEM2024 will provide perspectives for the future of elastin-related research.
